What is Family Friendly?

familyfriendlydorset

There are loads of events, exhibitions, plays, films, concerts, festivals and workshops for families and young people in Dorset and we want to make sure that you can find them easily and enjoy your visits together.

We know that being a family doesn't just mean having 2.4 children. Families come in all shapes and sizes - and so do the great things on offer. You can have fun, learn new things and new skills, enjoy watching a show and get creative at times and prices to suit all budgets.

Because that's what Family Friendly Dorset is all about. Being Family Friendly means we promise to do everything we can to make you and your family feel comfortable and welcome. And we'll listen to what you say and try to respond to your suggestions.

How can I find out more?

You can find out about Dorset's family friendly venues and the events they offer right here on the website. Some events are particularly Family Friendly so you will find them labelled carefully. You can also join the mailing list to receive regular updates, special family discounts and be the first to know what's on offer for your family.
