Red House Museum & Garden

Local museum in the heart of historic Christchurch. Once a Georgian workhouse, the Red House is now packed full of objects from times gone by. Take a look at the unique geology and natural history of the area, before enjoying it’s fascinating archaeological and social history. Enjoy a coffee in the beautiful surroundings of the gardens or take in the latest exhibition. There’s always something new to see and do. What Have We Got To Offer Families?

Buggy friendly ground floor access (inc. café, gardens and access toilet). Buggies can be ‘stored’ on ground floor to enable on foot access to 1st and 2nd floors.

Family activity area containing low level table and chairs and activity sheets.

Family exhibitions and events involving interactive activities suitable for all ages.
